For 2012, Honda has dropped the Accord from Crosstour’s name and tweaked it here and there. It still looks pretty weird though.
Looks aside, the Crosstour is a very good car. It offers the same convenience of a sedan, with the practicality and functionality of a crossover. It seems that for the 2012 model Honda wanted to make up for the ugly design with a bewildering array of standard and available features. The new model is really, really loaded!
The power still comes from a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine (which can run on 3, 4 or 6 cylinders depending on the condition) with 271 horsepower at 6,200 RPM and 254 lb-ft. of torque at 5,000 RPM. The 2WD Crosstour does 18/27/21 city/highway/combined. These figures for the 4WD version is 18/26/21, which is basically the same, so you are better off with a 4WD.
